CHCC is led by a committed team of community advocates, faith leaders, and professionals dedicated to healthcare access for all.

President / Executive Director
Cultural Sociologist with advanced studies in Community Psychology. Co-founder of Charlotte Healthcare Coalition and creator of Kitchen Konversation.

Board Chair
Actor and community organizer. The Chair presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors, appoints committee members, and exercises general oversight of corporate business. The Chair or a designee may serve as an ex officio member of the standing and special committees established by the Board.

Vice Chair — Leader, Senior Healthcare Warriors
Community leader in Charlotte. Upon disability or absence of the Chair, the Vice Chair performs the duties of the Board Chair, organizes the corporation's Annual Meeting, and may serve as an ex officio member of all committees.
Secretary / Treasurer
NC District Judge (ret). Serves as the organization's chief administrative officer, custodian of official corporate records, and primary conduit for internal communication — maintaining meeting minutes, setting the calendar, depositing receipts, and presenting written financial reports to the Board at quarterly meetings.

Outreach Coordinator
A Social Media Advocate is a high-level marketing executive who leads an organization's overall social media strategy, brand identity, and digital community engagement. As a specialist, an advocate operates at a macro level—managing budgets, leading creative teams, mitigating brand crises, and aligning social performance directly with overarching business revenue goals.

Founder Emeritus
Co-founder of Charlotte Healthcare Coalition. Elected a state representative in 2012; unable to continue working with the Coalition, she was designated Founder Emeritus.
Featured leadership
A Foundational Voice in the CHCC Story
Dr. Robbie Chandler played a central role in CHCC's early development. As a co-chair, strategist, community organizer, and church outreach leader, they helped the coalition secure meeting spaces, strengthen community relationships, and continue organizing during its earliest and most challenging years.
