Accessibility Statement

CHCC is committed to a website that everyone can use, including older adults, people with disabilities, and people using assistive technology.

What we have built in

  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline on every control.
  • A skip link that jumps straight to the main content.
  • Descriptive text alternatives for images and graphics.
  • Strong color contrast between text and background.
  • An accessibility panel with larger text, higher contrast, and reduced motion.
  • Screen-reader-friendly labels, headings, and landmarks.
  • Clear, specific error messages on every form.
  • Animations that stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Large tap targets and readable text on mobile devices.
  • Plain language instead of complicated medical wording.

Videos and captions

Any video CHCC publishes will include captions. If you find a video without captions, please tell us and we will correct it.
